Forming the start of my series “Wild Australian Garden”, these wild irises are a beauty. Though not a native, and originally from Africa, these incredible flowers can be found in many gardens, blossoming at the tips of tall stalks for generally only a day. They are fleeting, but glow in the dusk light, swaying in the breeze, ready to bloom again. They are a reminder to keep blooming, day after day.
The earrings feature swirly gentle white acrylic with a subtle gold shimmer, rich yellow, and violet. Hand-inked gold brings a little extra detail and ties the piece together. They are a midi-sized everyday earring. Lightweight and delicate, these little flowers aim to elevate your outfit and become a talking piece at your next event.
30mm across, 43mm tall (from top of stud). Pendant is 30mm across, 30mm tall.
Options of 15mm 14kt gold-filled hoop, or 15mm sterling silver hoop.
As the pieces are individually hand crafted in the studio, there may be minor differences, making each one unique. Also, please keep in mind slight colour variations between computer/phone screens.
Pieces are delicate and are to be treated with care. Give your jewellery a wipe with a soft, clean cloth. Do not spray purfumes or other chemicals on the earrings.
All earrings may vary slightly in colour due to acrylic variations. Small imperfections can happen in the acrylic, as is the character of handmade.
