Looking for fun and creative Christmas activities in Brisbane? Come and enjoy a joyful evening painting your very own handmade watercolour Christmas cards in this colourful, feel-good festive workshop with Brisbane artist Georgie Forbes (Lordy Dordie). Thousand Island will be open for you to browse and shop as you wish.
In this relaxed and beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the foundations of watercolour painting, including basic brush techniques, floral composition, colour mixing and festive illustration tips (including how to paint a wreath). Georgie will guide you step-by-step through the process so you feel supported and inspired from start to finish — no painting experience required! All while getting a spot of Christmas shopping in.

You’ll design and paint a set of hand painted Christmas cards using vibrant watercolours and festive floral motifs — the perfect mini keepsakes to gift to a loved one or display at home.
